Many students studying at the University of Johannesburg who live in the residential buildings have very small rooms and no bookshelf to keep their books organised. It was necessary to come up with a low cost bookshelf design that would be modular so that students can increase the amount of space required as they progressed to a higher level of education.

The modular cardboard bookshelf was my answer to this need.
